Now for the post that is the most important to mommy! All of your "firsts" that I don't want to forget! In the past few months this is what we have been doing:

  • You had to have ear tubes (we just couldn't get rid of your recurring ear infections)

  • You switched from soy to coconut milk (we figured out the soy was what was causing your constant congestion) You love it! We had to convince your school that it was not a life-threatening tree nut, but, you get to stay at the school we love!

  • You had your first flu bug, ER visit, Strep throat, and hand, foot and mouth outbreak. You had strep and HFM in the same week. That was a rough week for you and us!

  • You love all kinds of foods and area still a great eater, although no longer like certain textures, including jello and your former favorite, avocado.

  • You are trying very hard to walk. You will take about four steps and then you just sit down. But, you are very proud of yourself, so we don't think it will be much longer!

  • You sign eat, more, finished, wave hi and bye, dance, clap, shake, tap, and put your toys "in the box". You love to open and shut cabinets and drawers more than anything and Santa brought you a play kitchen for Christmas that is perfect for that. (That Santa is a genius)

  • You love to watch the baby genius videos on demand or dvd, but that is the only thing you are interested in as far as television goes. You still adore books and will sit and pretend read and fake laugh and it is so funny!

  • You have started to throw "fits' and will throw yourself backwards, stomp your feet, or slam your hands on the high chair. I am sure you get your temper from your daddy (yes, that must be it) and we are working on it. Those of you who know us try to keep your laughter under control! You also throw your cup and food in the floor but you are getting better about stopping when we tell you no.

  • You love Evan and Carson, and will just sit with them, and watch them intently for the longest time! They love you so much and we love watching the three of you sweet boys play together!

You make our little family whole and we love you so much!!
