This has been a crazy month and a half, and I definitely have not kept up very well with the blog to say the least! So....let's get caught up!
Jake had his hypospaideus correction surgery last month. He did well with the anesthesia and surgery, but the recovery was a little rough. He had the stent in for almost 2 weeks, and during this time he wasn't allowed to be in his jumper, carried on the hip, in his car seat, etc... All of the fun things at this age! He was on some pretty strong pain meds for the first few days, and also some for bladder spasms and antibiotics. Needless to say he wasn't very hungry and we regressed on the formula feedings. But, thankfully, after we ( and by we I mean Dave) took the stent out, he was quickly back to his happy little self.
Before surgery...flirting with the nurses...and of course, the anesthesia staff!

Back in the room after a short stay in recovery.
Awake and trying to chew on his IV tubing...perhaps the most expensive chew toy ever....
Thirsty little boy + favorite sippy cup = happiness!
