First Bottle After Surgery

We could not be happier with our little man today! The neurosurgeon came in this morning to check on him and said that he looked even better than he expected him to look. His fontanels are already soft and he is keeping down every ounce of formula today! He is doing so well, that they upped his formula for his evening feeding to 40cc and let him try it out of a bottle. Dave and I hoped that he would take at least 15 cc from the bottle and we could tube the rest, because that is what he was taking before surgery. BUT, he took 36 cc from the bottle and 4 more in his tube!!! Every day we hope and dream big for Jake, and every day God takes those hopes and dreams and shows us what HE has in mind for the day! We are blessed beyond belief!!
